Course Description:
Both events will start with a 2 mile loop vineyard run. The run winds through the vineyard on dirt roads giving athletes an up-close view of the vines. The runners will head into the transition area to pick up their bikes.
The road bike will exit the winery and turn left on Asti road to Canyon road, then turn right for a small climb up Canyon road to a fast downhill. Next, turn right on Dry Creek road for a flat 2 miles then turn right on Dutcher Creek road for a short climb and another fast downhill ride to Cloverdale. Turn right on Asti road and you head back to transition. The off-road duathlon bike will head out of transition and wind through the vineyard property giving the athletes an inspiring up-close and personal look at wine country.
Once bikers are back at the transition area, rack your bike and head out on the run. The run is in the opposite direction for your final run loop and finish at the tasting room. Cheers!
