Race Details
The August 11th 2013 Water To Wine Half Marathon begins at 7:00am at Lake Sonoma and finishes at Alderbrook Winery.
Race packet pick-up is Saturday, August 10th from noon to 5:00pm at Alderbrook Winery.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO EXPO AND FINISH
Traveling north on Hwy. 101, exit Central Healsdburg, turn left on Mill Street. This will take you back under Hwy. 101. Turn left on Kinley Road to Alderbrook Winery.
Traveling south on Hwy. 101, exit Westside Road. Turn right then left on Kinley Road to Alderbrook Winery.
Driving directions to Lake Sonoma for the start
Traveling north on Hwy 101, exit Dry Creek Rd in Healdsburg. Turn left from off ramp, stay on Dry Creek Rd for 10 miles to the Lake Sonoma Visitors Center.
PARKING & SHUTTLE BUS
Half Marathon runners will have the option driving to the start race morning located at Lake Sonoma ,or taking the shuttle bus to the start from downtown Healdsburg.Only 500 spots will be available race morning. Tickets will be sold for $5 on a first come first serve basis Saturday at packet pick-up. Buses will leave 6:00 am from downtown Healdsburg. If you drive to the start shuttle buses will take you back after you complete the race. Buses will start at 9:00 from Alderbrook Winery and run every 15 minutes until 11:30 am. Family members may drop you off race morning at Lake Sonoma, however if they stay for the start expect delays back to the finish due to road closures. Downtown Healdsburg has the best public parking options for family members watching the finish. It is only a 1/4 mile walk from the Safeway parking lot to the finish. Limited parking is available on Kinley Road near Alderbrook Winery.
TIMING
Computerized Chip Timing called D-TAGS will be used. These are disposable chips that attach to your shoe laces. When you cross the finish line, simply leave it on your shoe and it's yours to keep.
RACE SAFETY
The CHP, Police and Course Marshals are in place to assure course safety. Please stay on the right side of the road whenever possible. To assure safety to you and others, no animals, rollerblades, baby strollers or other wheel devices are allowed on the run course.
TIME REQUIREMENTS
The 13.1 Half Marathon will have a cut-off time of 3:30 hours, a 15:00/mile pace or better.
AID STATIONS
Water and fluid replacement will be available every 2 - 3 miles. Portable restrooms will also be available at all aid stations.
